Develop your design skills using Adobe Creative Suite industry-standard software, focusing on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You will explore: in-depth design techniques such as layer effects, masks, complex retouching and special effects in Photoshop; detailed page layout for multi-page documents in InDesign; and advanced drawing, tracing and creative tools in Illustrator. You will fill in your knowledge gaps and advance your technical skills to the next level. The sessions are practical with plenty of real-world design examples and challenges to work through.
You will benefit from course tutor Tim Adams (BA Hons PGCHE FHEA) our Graphic Design Technician Demonstrator, who has over twenty years’ experience both within the design industry and Higher Education. Tim specialises in using active learning techniques to teach Adobe software to our undergraduate cohort, and brings these skills to bear in order to ensure that his evening classes remain engaging, enjoyable and useful.
