Description

Join us a on a trip to Dymock to experience the village and landscape associated with the Dymock Poets. The trip is scheduled for Friday 5th May 2023.

 

Detailed Description

We will drive to the Forest Bakehouse where it will be possible to buy lunch.

In Dymock we will visit the exhibition in the church. Then we will go for a short walk through the countryside, stopping to read some poems. On our way back we will drive past some of the cottages the poets lived in and visited.

 

Please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear.

 

The coach will leave at 1115am from the bus stop opposite FCH (by the Hindu Community Centre on Swindon Rd, Cheltenham GL50 4AY)

 

We will be back at FCH by 5pm.
