Honorary Bachelor of Education Certificate – Replacement for Certificate in Education

From the 1950s to the 1980s, graduates who completed a three-year teacher training programme at one of the historic colleges or institutions that later became part of the University of Gloucestershire were awarded a Certificate in Education – the standard teaching qualification at the time.

This same programme has now been recognised as equivalent to a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree.

You can now order a copy of your Honorary Bachelor of Education Certificate to replace your original Certificate in Education.

How to Order

Please add this item to your basket and provide the following details:

• The name of the college or institution you attended
• The year you completed your training
• The name you would like printed on the certificate
• The addressee name (if different to the above) eg If you are now married and your name has changed, or it is a Posthumous award to be sent to a relative.
• Your email address
• Your delivery address

You will then be taken to our payment provider to complete the transaction.  If successful, you should receive a payment confirmation. 

Processing Time

Orders are processed once a month, but we’ll do our best to send it out sooner if possible.
