History Trip to Italy Jan 2027

History Trip to Italy Jan 2027

Description

Sunday 10 January - Friday 15 January 2027

6 days/5 nights (3 nights in Rome and 2 nights in Sorrento)

Current total price is £504- You can pay this all in one go, or in 5 installments. The last day to pay everything is 30/09/2026.

Accommodation will be shared, and we try to allocate rooms based on preferences and friendships, although this cannot always be guaranteed. If you would like a single room, there is a daily supplement of £36 per day in Rome (X3) and £33 in Sorrento (x2). There will be limited availability, but let us know if this is something you'd like.

On this trip we will be spending three nights in Rome, exploring its ancient origins, through to its Christian heart, the Renaissance, as well as the more recent legacies of Fascism and World War.

In addition, we will spend another two nights in the Bay of Naples, allowing us to spend a day in the culturally rich city of Naples, before a final stop at the ancient ruins of Pompeii.

Price includes: • return flights with baggage allowance • airport transfers in UK and Italy • shared accommodation (B&B) • entrance to the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum & Roman Forum, and Pompeii.

Students will need their own funds for local travel and public transport, food and drink. Students will also need to be prepared to do lots of walking, in the region of 20,000-30,000 steps per day. You will also have free time to explore sites and places on your own.
