Description

The Practice of Rural Development Partnerships in Europe: 24 Case Studies in Six European Countries. PRIDE Research Report Edited by Ada Cavazzani and Malcolm Moseley

Detailed Description

This report is the third formal output of the PRIDE research project.  It follows on logically from two earlier reports, which presented an extensive literature review and the findings of a survey of 330 local rural partnerships located in eight European countries.  It sets out the results of a programme of 24 intensive field studies, four in each of the following six countries: Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.  Their focus was the real practice of local partnerships, with particular reference to these elements: Local context, Origin and composition of the partnership, Objectives of development, Organisation and operation of the partnerships and Outputs.
