Step back into the world of Shakespeare on this trip exploring Stratford’s urban past, riverside economy and evolving heritage identity.
We'll take a walk through the town's historic streets, examine Tudor and Elizabethan life, and see how a small market town reinvented itself as the home of England’s most famous writer. Our route will take us along the River Avon, through medieval lanes and past iconic memorials that connect to trade, religion, social mobility and how Victorian heritage culture shaped Stratford across the centuries.
While arranged for History students, the trip is open to any students.
The trip costs £10 which includes travel by coach and entry to the Tudor World museum. Bookings close on Friday 24th April.
