Design Matters, so let’s talk about it. We’re a new home for design conversations, hosted at Park Campus in Cheltenham. We will be exploring important subjects within design as a creative community. This community is made up of industry guest speakers, our students, our alumni, design and creative professionals, and absolutely anyone who wants to come along.
Guest Speakers: Spotlight Slot: Emma Balebela Emma is a UoG BA Graphic Design alumni, who has worked for brands like Nike and ASOS, and they have been featured in publications such as Little White Lies, It’s Nice That, and Nike. Their work often ties into important topics, like limited edition YOU ALRIGHT MATE Nike ’95 trainers, and the No Kids In War prints which were exhibited alongside works by Banksy and Hirst to raise money for UNICEF’s Urgent Appeal For The Children In Gaza.
For Good’s Sake: Ellie Thompson Ellie is Founder and Director of Ave Agency. Ave is an independent, ideas-led studio that works solely with charities, not-for-profit organisations and the public sector to ensure these organisations communicate with their audiences effectively.
