Design Matters x Cheltenham Illustration Awards

Design Matters, so let’s talk about it. We’re a home for design conversations, hosted at Park Campus in Cheltenham. We will be exploring important subjects within design as a creative community. This community is made up of industry guest speakers, our students, our alumni, design and creative professionals, and absolutely anyone who wants to come along.

Guest Speakers:

Anna Ryzhova

Anna is a Russian born illustrator who is based in Turkey. She works as a freelance illustrator and her portfolio covers advertising, editorial, and children’s illustrations.

Megan Dunford

Megan is a zine collector, and co-runs the Just In Case Zine Library. She believes in the power of collaboration and also works for The Roses Theatre, a Tewksbury based theatre that provides theatre, music and cinema for everyone.

Cat O’Neill

Cat is an award-winning illustrator based in Edinburgh. She has self-authored a graphic novel titled Returning Home, based on mixed race heritage and what is meant by 'home'. Her illustration clients include The New York Times, WIRED, The Economist, and TIME Magazine.
